MacDermid Printing Solutions Introduces
New LUX Platemaking Process

On May 2, MacDermid announced the introduction of an exciting new platemaking process that will take flexo platemaking to the next level. MacDermid introduced this new technology, called the LUX process, at the FFTA INFO*FLEX in Las Vegas, NV. EnvironmentalFootprint Calculator (EFC)

On April 22, Earth Day, MacDermid Printing Solutions announced the launch of a unique, interactive tool that calculates the environmental impacts of three different types of flexographic printing plates – solvent, thermal and liquid plates. The Environmental Footprint Calculator (EFC) allows users to determine the environmental impacts particular to their platemaking operations by incorporating customer-specific variables such as plate type, plate gauge, geographic location, plate size, and number of plates.
