Announcing Digital MLT and Digital MUST
Digital MLT, an uncapped digital plate, provides outstanding printability for any web flexo application. This very durable plate has been designed to process in either MacDermid's LAVA thermal plate processing technology, or conventionally with MacDermid Solvit QD.

Digital MLT provides extremely low dot gain, and excellent solid ink density for flexible film, narrow web, folding carton, preprinted linerboard, multiwall bag, and other web flexo processes. Because the plate can be processed either thermally or conventionally, printers can be assured of very consistent print quality no matter how the plate is processed. Digital MUST, an uncapped solvent digital plate, provides the flexo industry a very durable plate with an excellent printing surface.

Digital MUST has a very easy-to-release coversheet, and quick imaging times. Digital MUST is suited for any web flexo application including flexible film, narrow web, folding carton, multiwall bag, and preprinted linerboard.

Sales of Digital EPIC photopolymer plates are taking off thanks to the huge improvement that printers are seeing in image reproduction and ink transfer. Digital EPIC’s unique surface technology improves ink transfer while maintaining sharp clean dots and minimal dot gain.

Large and Small Format LAVA Thermal Processing
Large format 4260 LAVA systems have been installed and are operating daily at several beta accounts. Smaller, 2530 Systems, have been installed in Europe and the Americas. LAVA processing offers platemakers solvent free processing and improved productivity. Plate materials developed for LAVA thermal processing can also be processed in conventional solvent type systems.

Resolute Blankets Print The New MacDermid Printing Solutions Product Literature
As part of the new branding introduction, all new product literature was created and printed. Our Resolute offset blankets were used to print all of the new MacDermid Printing Solutions literature. The printer commented he had never seen a sharper dot produced by any other blanket.

The Single Wide Flexo Press for Newspapers in Operation
The new single-wide flexo press for newspaper and publication printing co-developed with Tech Energy and marketed by MacDermid Printing Solutions’ newspaper plates group has been installed and is running daily. The single-wide press is ideal for commercial work and inserts.
