The Muschert + Gierse group located in Neuenrade and Heilbad Heiligenstadt (Germany) was founded by Josef Muschert and Fritz Gierse in 1949. Today the group has 300 employees and specializes in different types of surface treatment systems like electroplating, cataphoresis dip coating and duplex systems (zinc and zinc based alloys plating systems + cataphoresis dip coating). An excellent relationship with the automobile industry guarantees the continous exchange of information and knowledge with application specialists of customer branches. Intensive testing and development of hexavalent chrome free surface systems in relation to the EU End-of-Life-Vehicle is done in Muschert + Gierse‘s newly built technical center.
