SFChina Surface Finishing Exhibition, Guangzhou, 08

Bigger and better than ever, SFChina proved to be "the" trade event to be at in 2008.

Filled with surface finishing process technolgies and innovative ideas, the event again attracted huge crowrds from all areas of the world.

MacDermid once again demonstrated its committment to this expanding region. This year our exhibition focused on our strengths in Decorative, POP, Anti Corrosion & EN processes. Seminars on "interconnect finishing" and "how to become OEM approved" were both very well attended.

Special customer summits were also very popular, the format allowing a detailed dialogue between technical experts and a forum where new innovation ideas could be shared.

Sur/Fin USA

Despite being 600 miles from the coast, Sur/Fin 2008 generated a wave of interest in the latest coating systems from MacDermid. The premier surface finishing show in North America was held recently in Indianapolis, Indiana where visitors showed a keen interest in environmentally compliant finishes including TriMacIII trivalent chrome and PFOS free cleaners, as well as the latest equipment developments like MacDermid's nickel purification system.

Audiences for the technical sessions were presented with papers on optimizing zinc-nickel plating systems, new organically stabilized electroless nickels and the latest developments in electrophoritic lacquers.
