StanTek: High Speed Tin and Tin Alloy Plating

The StanTek product line provides a full line of matte and bright processes. Tin or tin/lead, these chemistries are formulated to deliver outstanding current density range, process simplicity, uniform appearance, and exceptional solderability. As expected from MacDermid, a team of responsive and knowledgeable technical service personnel supports these StanTek processes.

Matte Tin and Tin Alloys

StanTek AMAT : The right choice for lead-free matte plating as well as tin/lead applications, StanTek AMAT delivers excellent current density, coating uniformity, and solderability for connector and semiconductor packaging (leadframe) applications. In pure tin applications, AMAT produces a low-stress, whisker resistant deposit.

A wide variety of processes for connector applications

StanTek AMAT W for
high speed wire plating
StanTek BMAT : A versatile plating system, BMAT produces smooth, solderable matte tin and tin/lead finishes for both high speed and rack/barrel applications

StanTek MA:
This chemistry produces uniform pure tin matte coatings from a mixed acid, MSA-free electrolyte. Operating costs are reduced versus comparable MSA systems.

StanTek AMAT-W : Formulated for high speed wire applications, AMAT-W produces smooth, drawable matte finishes at high current densities

Bright Tin and Tin Alloys
StanTek BT 3000
High Speed Bright Tin

StanTek BT 3000 : Produces a uniform, bright pure tin coating from and MSA electrolyte. The tin finish is particularly resilient through high temperature thermal and steam cycles.

StanTek SB 2000 : Bright pure tin process operating at lower cost from a sulfuric acid based electrolyte.

StanTek 90 Plus
: Bright 90/10 tin/lead deposits are produced. Unlike many bright systems, this process is capable of operating at elevated temperatures, eliminating chillers and volume build-up.

StanTek Solite 60
: Bright 60/40 tin/lead deposits. Uniform alloy deposition.
